The Colorado Technology Association (CTA) is celebrating entrepreneurs who assume risks to boldly lead new ventures. Principal of BrianAmann and TaxOps CEO Brian Amann is on the CTA’s short-list of finalists for the “Technology Entrepreneur of the Year” award. Brian was selected among 144 nominees for the annual award. Winners will be announced at the APEX 2014 Conference awards dinner in November.
The award recognizes entrepreneurs who are innovative, determined and pursue many means to succeed. The criteria include achievement, leadership, perseverance, integrity and community and global influence.
Brian’s vision and execution is the cornerstone of TaxOps’ success. In 2009, amid the economic recession, Brian committed to an unconventional results-oriented business model and workplace environment he felt would promote entrepreneurship at TaxOps and within the industry. The overwhelming success of this model has set the firm on a game-changing arc, leading to exceptional growth and revenue results. As principal of FirmGrowth, Brian applies his 20-plus years of practical and soft skill business knowledge in working with accounting professionals and firms transitioning from practitioners to entrepreneurs.
